Overview

Chogolisa, with an impressive height of 7,665 meters, is a captivating peak in the Karakoram Range. Known for its beautiful, sweeping ridgelines and distinctive snow-covered summit, Chogolisa is often called the "Bride Peak" due to its graceful shape. The mountain gained attention with the historic 1909 expedition by the Duke of the Abruzzi and has continued to attract mountaineers with its blend of technical challenges and breathtaking views. Although not the highest in the region, Chogolisa offers a formidable climb with its sharp ridges, demanding both skill and endurance from seasoned climbers. Located near the Baltoro Glacier, it requires careful acclimatization and a well-coordinated team, rewarding those who take on its slopes with the rare beauty and tranquility of one of the world’s most secluded mountain landscapes.
